I
reread the prompt and rubric for the assignment a few times, and at long last,
I’ve managed to get some real work done on my essay! It’s just the introduction
and thesis right now, but that’s always been one of the hardest parts of
writing essays for me. I think I just needed to get my mind on track with what
my assignment is actually about. With the main point of the essay out of the
way, I am already coming up with the points that will support my thesis. Even
just this little bit of progress helped get me pumped up to write the rest of
the essay. Speaking of which, I should get on that right now, while everything
is fresh in my memory. But, with so much done and so much time left, can taking a little break really hurt?
